Chef Obligations & Terms

As a Mise chef, you agree to the following obligations for every confirmed booking:

  • Setup: Arrive early and set up your station and prep space.
  • Cooking: Prepare and cook the full agreed menu for all guests.
  • Cleanup: Clean the kitchen thoroughly after service.
  • Dish photography: Take photos of each plated dish during service (Mise may use these for marketing).
  • Post-event review: Leave a review of the client after the event — required before you can submit your own review.
Cancellation / No-Refund Policy: If a client fires you mid-event without a documented Culinary Emergency (verbal abuse, health/safety incident, hygiene violation, food quality issue), no refund is issued — you keep your earned share. Culinary Emergencies must be documented within 24 hours of the event.
